Writing for your student
 
         Material for low-level readers is very difficult to find.  Some literacy
students are not comfortable with dictating a Language Experience Story.
There are three options a tutor can use to create relevant material for their
student: write a story using sight words; write an article about something
discussed by the tutor and student (particularly good for ESL students); or
simplify an existing article or articles.
